  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced Granny Smith apples
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt; set aside.
  3. Cream together butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla; mix well.
  4. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed. Fold in diced apples.
