  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 48 ounces white chocolate almond bark
  • 6 ounces red candy melts
  • 24 popsicle sticks

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until smooth. Pour into a greased 9×13 cake pan.
  3. Bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake and mix with softened cream cheese to form dough.
  5. Press dough into cakesicle molds and insert popsicle sticks. Freeze for about 10 minutes.
  6. Melt white chocolate almond bark and dip each cakesicle until fully coated. Let harden on parchment paper.
  7. Melt red candy melts and flick over cakesicles to create a blood splatter effect.
