  • 12 oz medium shell pasta
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the shell pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss chicken cubes with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 6-8 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat, sauté minced garlic for 1 minute. Whisk in flour to create a roux; gradually add milk while whisking until smooth and slightly thickened.
