  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 and 1/2 cups chunky tomato salsa
  • 1 and 1/2 cups sour cream, divided
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
  • 1 (3.8 ounce) can sliced black ripe olives
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped, divided
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey jack and cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 and 1/2 cups prepared guacamole
  • 6 cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 (6 ounce) can medium black olives, for garnishing and spiders
  • Blue Corn Tortilla Chips
  • Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips
  • Mini Bell Peppers, halved and seeded

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the refried beans with taco seasoning until combined.
  2. On a large serving platter, layer the seasoned refried beans first.
  3. Spread the chunky tomato salsa evenly over the beans.
  4. Carefully add half of the sour cream as the next layer.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese over the sour cream.
  6. Spread the guacamole evenly on top of the cheese layer.
  7. Add the remaining sour cream followed by sliced olives, chopped green onions, and quartered cherry tomatoes for garnish.
  8. Finish with a sprinkle of remaining cheese on top.
  9. To create the spiderweb design, pipe lines of salsa verde in a circular pattern and drag through with a toothpick.
  10. Serve with blue corn tortilla chips, yellow corn tortilla chips, and halved mini bell peppers.
