  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup fine granulated sugar
  • Red gel food coloring

Instructions

  1. Prepare the whipped cream by combining heavy cream, vanilla extract, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Whip until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat whole milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, white chocolate, and mini chocolate chips over medium-low heat until melted and simmering. Stir in red food coloring for effect.
  3. Serve hot in mugs topped with whipped cream.
  4. For the sugar blood rim: Heat light corn syrup and water with granulated sugar until it reaches 300°F. Mix in red gel food coloring and dip glass rims before letting them cool.
